We are well positioned for the future. Our engines for growth include: We intend to enhance RevPAR, margin and EBITDA growth through continued revenue initiatives and cost management. Growth/profitability of franchise program. Redevelop existing locations, real estate acquisitions, brand acquisitions, improve existing units. Liquidity to fund external growth and opportunistic acquisitions.

We also target improved guest satisfaction, increased productivity from electronic distribution channels, and more repeat business from frequent guests.

With significant opportunities for geographical expansion, we plan to grow our strong brand more rapidly: Gain exposure to new markets, go after the high-demand markets with barriers to entry, improve property economics and redevelop existing locations.

Case History: La Quinta Inn & Suites, Beaumont, TX

New construction, 65 rooms, opened 11/07/02.
Within the first 60 days of opening, the property yielded an Occupancy Index greater than 120% to their competitive set. In the first year of operation, the Occupancy Index equaled over 137%. The property continues its stride, outperforming their Competitive Set well into their third year of operation, outpacing by double-digits.
